Positive: It’s just in front of the Train station! Very convenient! A/C works really well. Big rooms.
Negative: Breakfast could be better Too much noise in the Pool side at 2am in the morning. I couldn’t sleep, I had to ask a change of room in the other side

Positive: The staff were extremely helpful and made every effort to accommodate all requests. The breakfast was traditional Uzbek with some variety day by day. The location is excellent for the railway station but still only 10-15 mins walk from the old town.

Positive: The swimming pool area was lovely, with a good sized pool and you could get drinks to relax there too. Our kids really enjoyed it. Other positives are the location, with it being a 2 minute walk across the road to the train station. There is a really good restaurant next door too. The staff were friendly.
Negative: The electricity went one afternoon, which was when we were planning to rest so we knocked a point off the score for that.

Positive: This hotel is 2 mins opposite the railway station. After a long train journey to get to Khiva it is ideal so close to the station. Only a ten minute walk a lot in shade to the old city of Itchan Kala this is a better option than those inside the old city which simply don’t have the same comfort level or nice cool swimming pool. Breakfast was very good and rooms large with good air con. With seriously hot summer temps over 40c it’s perfect.

Positive: The location was very convenient for the station - about 10-15 minutes walk to the old walls. The room was big. The bath was huge! The bed was comfortable. The laundry service was very fast and good value. All of the staff were very helpful and nice.
Negative: The shower in the room was a bit faulty in that it wouldn't completely move into shower mode from bath mode, which meant a lot of water was wasted into the bath. There was a power cut (across the whole city!) when we were there and that also stopped the water (until they managed to get the backup generator working).
Summary: Good hotel, very convenient if arriving by train

Positive: Location is very good, the pool a welcome treat for an early morning or evening swim. The breakfast is plentiful but a decent coffee was an extra charge.
Negative: We arrived and had been allocated a different room to what I had requested. The manager told me it was my fault because I should have gone by the picture and not the description. So, two large double beds in the description became two singles. The pool view was actually a view of the street... I really had to stand my ground with the 'on duty' manager and eventually he allocated a room with a double bed. He was passively hostile and again told me it was my fault and every time I saw him at reception he ignored me. The rest of the staff were delightful and helpful.

Positive: The staff was very friendly. And the facilities and cleanliness of the property are both top-notch in the area. In particular, the prices at the restaurant next to the hotel are cheaper than those nearby. And like hotels in Thailand and Southeast Asia, a bidet with a hose is installed. Very clean.
Negative: Breakfast was a sufficient local meal. However, since there are so many sweet foods, it would be nice to have something like yogurt. And the water pressure in the hotel is weak.
