Positive: Lovely wonderful hosts in Joe and Lizzie. Location is idyllic - beautiful gardens, fresh air , alpacas , the lot ! Breakfast was lovely. Good location near to the national parks.

Negative: Just small things : - would be nice to have fresh coffee instead of the freeze dried variety - bed wasn't the most comfortable - would be nice to have hangers in the room - be mindful, that because you are rural, lots of places may say they are open on google when they are not.

Positive: We stayed at Sabo's last month for my birthday, and it was just AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, Lizzie and Joe were absolutely lovely. The property was super cozy and beautiful (a Christmas snowglobe in a home!), only made better by the delicious breakfast, Lizzie's wonderful Saturday group dinners, and the wonderful fireplace in the rooms.

Positive: Dinner on the last night. Comfort in the lounge and dinning area. Very homely feeling and customer service.

Negative: On the first morning, breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were significantly overcooked, the toast was soggy, and the bacon was overly crisp, making the meal unenjoyable. On the second morning, the pancakes were burnt, and no maple syrup or condiments were provided to accompany them. Despite advising Lizzie of my lactose intolerance, my pancakes were served with dairy ice cream. When I raised this with Joe, I was told to simply scrape it off, leaving me with plain, burnt, dry pancakes and no suitable alternatives. Unfortunately, neither breakfast met expectations, and the experience was unsatisfactory for everyone at the table.

Positive: Excellent cooked breakfast. Large lounge room with log fire burning 24/7. Impressive gardens and plenty of room to wander.

Negative: Rooms were on the small side, little space to leave your bag and cloths. However the beds were comfy, good sized ensuite. Ten minute drive south of Stanthorpe.
