Summary: Our stay was simply perfect - especially the outdoors onsen were really nice (a bit smelly though) :-)

Summary: The hot springs, including private ones, are amazing (and sulphurous), and so are the views from the hotel. The food is simple and good, both at dinner and at breakfast. On the other hand, rooms have cheesy smell to them, probably from mold; wifi is very weak.

Summary: The check in process and the follow up since the reservation made were excellent. The reception when we arrived was 10/10 perfect. If there were a rating of 11/10, I will use that.

Summary: Hotel style property, a little larger than I expected. A bit dated. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room with futons. Overall the room was great, but the futons were the hardest, least comfortable of the trip. Meals however were excellent, and we very much enjoyed the outdoor baths.

Summary: Very peaceful and quiet. Very good hot spring baths and the food was outstanding. Staff was very courteous and provided transportation to and from the hotel and bus stop.

Summary: Amazing experience but a bit odd… we took public transportation which I would not recommend. It took most of the day to get to from Fukuoka. With bad storms, the local train service was temporarily cancelled. Given we had no car and the ground was very wet there was nothing to do but stay put. The hotel staff was very friendly and tried to help us navigate our journey back. The onsen experience was our first and was amazing. Overall the property is very dated and sleepy. The food was disappointing but the dining room views were stunning!
