Summary: Room was very light and airy and bed was clean and comfy but the bathroom floor was dirty and very dated. The living area curtains were sitting on the floor and were covered in mildew. The sofa was comfortable on one side and rock hard on the other. The restaurant food was nice but the menu was very small.

Summary: It is a very beautiful quiet place and you can go to the Down Town with the ferry in 40minutes. The villas are very nice and big but a little bit old

Summary: Stayed at the Rydges Formosa for 2 nights in the 2 bedroom villa which is actually just 2 interconnecting rooms so no actual separate lounge room. The accommodation itself is a bit tired and the rest of the offering isn’t particularly centred around resort guests, eg., I had to call reception 4 times before I got a hold of someone to come and unlock the door between our rooms to make it into the ‘2 bedroom villa’. Breakfast was a very basic buffet, on the Sunday so many things ran out and they were very slow to replenish. The only thing really worthwhile are the views out over the golf course and harbour - which were stunning.

Summary: Excellent restaurant with great food, good bar. Room itself is huge and really well equipped. Only missing thing is a microwave for preparing something if not keen to go to the restaurant.

Summary: We initially encountered a hiccup because the door of our room was jammed and we couldn’t get in. Eventually we were offered a new room and we were upgraded to a different room. Although the new room was clean, there were some cellar spiders around the room. Wasn’t a big deal for us - just thought that they weren’t expecting for that room to be used so it wasn’t really cleaned thoroughly. Overall, great experience. Love that it’s very tranquil. Will come back in the future.

Summary: Sweet golf resort 40 minutes from Central Auckland. Andy and his staff are great, the villas have nice views of the water, restaurant chef and food are top tier, and the golf course is challenging, but a lot of fun.
