Positive: Good location and such a lovely owners. Fantastic rural atmosphere. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this lodge for others and would love to stay here again.

Positive: Very peaceful and comfortable cottage, with a woodland field walk behind it and a lovely little balcony to sit out in the sun.

Negative: Proper curtains would be a good idea to help sleeping in summer months.

Positive: Very cozy self-contained studio apartment in a beautiful rural location. The apartment has everything you need. The hosts are super friendly, helpful, and eager to help you to enjoy your stay. The grounds extend back a long way and feature a lovely summer house overlooking a pond. There are many different types of trees and plants attracting butterflies. They also have chickens. From the balcony at the apartment you can enjoy great views over the countryside and I saw muntjac deer a few times. You can also spot several wild birds in the area - I was lucky enough to see a barn owl shortly after sunset one night. Although you are very much in the countryside the place is easy to find and the proximity to the A10 makes it easy to get around. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come back.

Negative: For me everything was great - but if you are a taller person you will want to be careful of the low ceilings (I'm only 5'4" so I didn't have a problem).

Summary: Idyllic little spot, I would stay here again

Positive: Alan and Theresa went out of their way to make this the most enjoyable stay. The accommodation was superb, basics in the fridge for the morning (bread, butter, milk) A beautiful setting, with beautiful hosts...thank you!
