Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Rustic Duck Creek Village cabin—thank you, Nicole, for sharing your happy place with our family of four (plus two small golden doodles)!Check-in was a breeze, and the cabin was clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything we needed. The welcome book was a great touch and made us feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful layout and amenities throughout the space. It’s not always easy to find a dog-friendly cabin that still feels so well cared for, but this one was perfect. Our pups were just as comfortable as we were!Check-out was simple with clear and easy instructions. We’re already looking forward to the next visit. Highly recommend!

Summary: This is a great place to stay!! Nicole messaged immediately upon our arrival making sure we found the place okay. It was after the first big storm of the season. The snow was magical! The deck is carpeted - which made it no-slip and safe! Everything is labeled and easy to find.. there were extra utensils, pots/pans.. kid friendly with board games and a small sled provided (although we had brought our own).. there is a decent hill right out back of the house that was perfect for play.. and the road right in front, made for fun sledding! Gas stove was perfect, and an area away from the kids, upstairs was nice to briefly escape to. This was our first trip to Duck Creek- but it won’t be our last. The stars are amazing at night.. and we can’t wait to go back for summer adventures! Thanks for providing your lovely rustic home to us for a few days!

Summary: The cabin itself was great. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook, the beds were great, there was hot water, and the WiFi worked well. However…the heat was broken; the first night we were there was 25 degrees. Luckily the fireplace did a great job keeping us warm. The “guest contact” (property manager) didn’t answer our return my calls. It wasn’t until I text them with “911” that she responded. Her response was “here’s the owners number”. I don’t see the point of the manager. The owner was great and did everything they could to get the heat back on, but it needed a post not available on the weekends. All in all we did like the cabin and love Duck Creek. Was a little let down no monetary reimbursement was offered, but it is what it is. We were about $100 in on firewood and other fire starting supplies for the weekend. Had the heat not been broken in the first cold weekend of the season, this would have been an easy 5 stars.

Summary: Great little cabin
Noah G. Jul 6, 2024 02:29:51 AM
Summary: The cabin was dirty upon arrival-beds were unmade, towels were all used, dirty socks were inside the couch bed, dirt everywhere. When I let them know that I had to wash our towels & clean our own beds, they apologized. And that was it. Never heard from them again. After the exorbitant cleaning fees, we definitely won’t be doing that again. Otherwise, it was fine. We love Duck creek and spend most of our time outside anyway. I just think for the price of the cabin, it should have been clean & had some things stocked (like toilet paper, paper towels or hand towels, etc).

Summary: My friend and and I enjoyed our time at this cabin. It is well kept and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. There is everything you need to enjoy your time. We would definitely stay here again.
