Summary: It was a lovely country property, we were able to watch the sunrise everyday and got to enjoy watching all the Kangaroos. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

Summary: We loved it. Warm and inviting. All the amenities we needed. Away from noise except for birds :) lovely! Our family loved spotting the wildlife every morning and we were able to drive in any direction to find adventure - Melbourne to Sassafras, Olinda and Belgrave. Perfect for us!

Summary: Kathy’s property is in a great location and you definitely feel like you are away from it all when in fact, you’re only 10 minutes from all local conveniences. Property needs a little bit of Maintenance, however still comfortable.

Summary: Awesome rural location right in the suburbs! Spacious comfy house,with amazing panoramic farm views.Nearby kangaroos /wallabies,horses rabbits and varied birdlife.Close to Lysterfield Park for a great range of picturesque forest walks.Shops a short drive away.Very good owner/manager communication.Worthwhile holiday destination.

Summary: Great place for a family getaway. Wonderful location close to shops, Lysterfield Lake and the Dandenong Ranges but once you arrive you feel like you're a million miles away. Cosy cottage but surprisingly big particularly for a family. Pet-friendly and our dog had an absolute ball. Would recommend taking drinking water but other than that everything was catered for. Thanks Kathy for a wonderful stay.

Summary: The house was clean and user friendly, and was also well equipped. The following observations were made - Electric blanket in the single bedroom not working. Family room couch too low for older guests. Water filter DEFINITELY needed for tap water. Fireplace needs some maintenance. A user manual would have been welcome for appliances, etc. Smoke alarm not working outside family room. Several items found under couch in TV room.

Summary: Great spot in country setting and <15min to beautiful Dandenongs/lake walks. But still very close to excellent shops/eating places. Did have some issues with wifi dropping out which was problematic as were trying to work for some of the time.

Summary: A lovely place. Charming, every thing we wanted. Handled 7 easily, 8 with the sofa. Lots of glassware and cutlery. Beautiful sunrises and in the evening, if you turn right at the bottom of the drive, good chance of seeing kangaroos. It was exceptional! One of our best family hols.
