Summary: I have stayed in log cabins before, real log cabins not prefab stuff so I know what a pain they can be maintenance wise. the logs twist and turn, its just what happens. we had more than a few drafts, but the heaters kept us warm. everyone slept well in the beds. the pond behind this place is an awesome sight in morning. it had a bunch of Canadian geese and ducks on it every morning. I took my kids and my grand kids skiing at Sipapu, they had a blast. drove up to Eagle nest in a pretty good snow storm, loved the drive through the mountains. usually run into some big elk herds, but not this trip. saw lots of deer and other wildlife. if your looking for a rustic place in the middle of nowhere I highly recommend it. only real complaint is I did not know about the cows. I am afraid I would have left the gate open if my daughter had not told me about them.
