Stunning views of Bethells Beach and the Sand Dunes that lead to the beautiful Lake Wainamu. Relax and unwind in this Bach surrounded by natural beauty and birdsong. In the day hear the birdsong of the Tui and in the evening listen out for the unmistakable call of the Ruru (Morepork) Owl.
Only nature at it's very best.
This beautiful bach is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. Or a quick 2 minute drive to the beach for a walk along Bethells beach or a surf over the hill at the well know O'Neils surf beach.
In the summer there is the Bethells Cafe which offer food and beverages.
A beautiful location for a winter escape, rug up and explore the beach and then come home and relax in front of a roaring fire.
A 10 minute drive will take you back to the Waitakere Golf club.
You have the luxury of privacy of a whole house, offering value for money and accommodating up to 8 people.
We have wi-fi at the bach and a land line for local calls. There is now a mobile tower in the area so you can stay connected. .

Summary: It was lovely at first glance.every had its place and it looked very sug.but thats kind of where it ended.The hard wooden stools around tne kitchen table are not comfortable. which only leaves the couch to sit at. which is not ideal.The coffee table is not right for the room either or else it would actually serve the people on rhe couch. But it sits too far away.so we were generally uncomfortable. wanting better seats..the couch is back to the veiw. which seems counter intuitive.the slippy pathway was concerning.but you knew all of this. so why bother asking for feed back.Tge Coffee tables ou

Summary: We mostly enjoyed our stay at Paula’s Bach. It was clean and inviting. The location was close to the lake (make sure you take boogie boards for sand dunes sliding) and a short way from the beach. Paula was a great host. The only reason I didn't give this an overall 5 stars was because of the neighbours partying until 1am. Very loud music, shouting and constant swearing right outside and a couple of steps away from where our children were trying to sleep. Possibly they were not full time neighbours and we caught it on a bad weekend, but we would probably not stay again because of it.
