The Casita is an original farm cottage set amongst acres of almond and olive groves. It has been beautifully restored to a very high standard throughout. The spacious en-suite bedrooms are furnished with traditional, stylish pieces and retain many original features. The comfortable living room leads through to the fully equipped kitchen/dining area with a wood burning stove. The outside dining room & private courtyard lead up to the pool and terraces and are ideal for alfresco dining. Perfect for those looking to escape you need do nothing more than lie by the pool during the day and star gaze at night - our magnificent night skies, amongst the clearest in Spain, are a wonderful back drop for a romantic evening. For the more active guests the countryside around The Casita offers the opportunity to walk along trails full of wild rosemary and thyme, through valleys and along ancient goat tracks, observing the natural beauty and wildlife of the area.

Summary: The pictures on the website are not as beautiful as it really is. When you drive to the house you will be suprised a lot! Sooo wonderfull peacefull and lovely place!

Summary: This place can be anything you make it. If you want solitude and quiet, then this is place for you. If you want Quad biking, horse riding, expert fitness advice, Yoga bliss, or sports massage then you can have that too. Where else can you float in the middle of the night in your own private pool looking at the stars as summer temperature dip below 30*C contemplating all that's good in life? Don't mistake, this is rural Spanish life at it's best. Everyone is friendly, great local markets and prices. The pool is the wow factor, but equally wonderful is the benefit of having hosts like Paul and Jules. Whatever you want, they will make your stay wonderful. We are just counting the days to return.

Summary: Perfect cottage, perfect hosts, perfect setting! We hoped that this property would be as good as it looked and sounded in the advert and it was even better. We normally travel a lot when we are on holiday but this time the pool area and cottage were so relaxing that we wanted to spend most of our time there. Paul and Jules were perfect hosts, achieving a great balance between being on hand if needed but otherwise completely respectful of our privacy. Nothing was too much trouble and I'm so glad we sampled Jules's great cooking and Paul's personalised training session. If the description tempts you, then look no further for it will definitely live up to expectations and more.

Summary: This was our 2nd visit to the beautiful Almond House. Where to start. The Casista is in itself charming and beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need. The surrounding area although rural is simply stunning. The perfect holiday for those who just want to have a complete chill out. The pool area is fabulous with many places to sunbathe and read. We loved the peace and quiet, enjoyed our BBQs and watching the beautiful night sky and a glass of 2 of something nice. Jules & Paul are always on hand if needed, For us it was a tailor made holiday with everything we could possibly wish for. We throughly enjoyed Coco, Ruby and Dixie and not forgetting Noodles family pets, who kept us company many a time The supermarkets are only 20 mins away with a good selection of all you'll need. Once again it was just the most fantastic holiday and we returned home completely chilled although wishing we had another week. We'll be back to see you again Jules & Paul.

Summary: My husband and I and are children of 8 and 5 spent a very relaxing week at the Almond House in April. It provided a wonderful contrast to our busy city life. We all loved the space and tranquility of the location and the beautiful, wild country walks. The children also adored the pool and the numerous friendly pets. The house was cosy and thoughtfully put together and the gardens and pool area were beautifulLy planned and planted. Above all, Paul and Jules were really lovely and made a big effort to make us feel welcome and looked after.

Summary: My partner and I had a priceless week of tranquility at Almond House. Very rarely do you find the perfect blend of sheer luxury and the feeling that you are staying in a wonderful home from home. So much thought has gone into the experience that Jules and Paul want for their guests, the cottage, the facilities and their hospitality is faultless. I have never felt so great after a week's holiday, the Almond House experience was so relaxing and enjoyable, pure nourishment for the soul! Each guest can have a bespoke holiday to suit, Jules and Paul can offer home cooked food, massage, personal training, yoga and for the sake of hopeless romantics, they have an incredible knack of being invisible. We cannot wait to go back to our favourite place!

Summary: We had such a relaxing holiday at the Almond house-a well needed break for all three of us! The casista was amazing,so tranquil and was well equiped for a very chilled holiday, the pool and surroundings were fantastic. It is very rural with a few miles of dusty track to get to it but after a day of visiting beaches, small towns and markets it is a much needed retreat. We loved the quietness and beautiful skies at night, amazing for star gazing! Paul and Jules were lovely, extremely helpful when directions or advice was needed and their furry friends were adorable,visits from the cats and dogs were always greeted with lots of affection from us-it made us feel at home. This was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had and it is a must for anyone who needs to go and unwind.

Summary: My girlfriend and I have just spent an incredibly relaxing week at Paul and Jules' fantastically restful cottage. The accommodation and pool area are gorgeous, very tastefully laid out and beautifully finished and everything we needed or wanted was to hand. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque and consequently I took far too many photos. We spent some lazy days relaxing by the pool and some visiting local unspoiled Spanish towns and villages and beaches, La Alhambra in Granada and the breathtaking Cabo de Gata national park. Paul and Jules are perfect hosts, there when needed but inconspicuous when not! We will be unequivocally recommending the cottage to all our friends and it will hopefully not be too long before we return ourselves.

Summary: This is one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had and "The Almond Cottage"is the perfect place to unwind.The cottage is outstanding in every respect with high class facilities both inside and out. High quality finishing and utensils add to the feeling of a luxury holiday.The pool and surrounding external areas are simply the best we have experienced and there is ample space to read,swim or chill with a glass of wine. We also took advantage of Jules superb coking both in the cottage and in the farmhouse when friends joined us for the weekend.It was delicious and made a nice change from the well used BBQ.Paul and Jules are exceptional hosts and nothing was too much trouble.The area is quite rural but this adds to the whole tranquil experience and makes such a pleasant change from the normal "tourist traps".There is a small restaurant nearby serving the best steaks we have ever eaten and supermarket is about 15 mins drive in a small but busy town with good local facilities. We will definitely return at some stage and feel so refreshed after two glorious weeks in this fabulous part of Spain.

Summary: I spent an incredibly relaxing 2 weeks in Almond Cottage with my husband and our two teenagers. The cottage is very rural which added to its charm and tranquility. We were met by the owners and showed to and around the cottage. It was beautifully decorated and had every amenity possible. The private pool is amazing, there are sunbeds dotted around for sun worshippers and a wonderful, shaded outdoor 'hub' with day beds for cooling off and resting..... However, if you are looking for more activity the owners offer Personal training sessions in their air conditioned gym - my son and I had several sessions each and they were fantastic. Nothing was too much for the owners, they were really attentive but did not impose. I would recommend Almond Cottage, it is rural, but this adds to it's attraction. We had a very stress free holiday - even with teenagers!!! Thank you for a fantastic time.
