Summary: This gite is amazing, even better than the pictures suggest. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the owners are lovely too. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, and would definitely like to return one day.

Summary: the cottage is spacious and fully furnished with all necessities and many extras. It was super clean. The pool is magnificent. downside: the beds are quite short and equipped with a headboard and a footboard, so less suitable for tall people. the furniture in the spacious living room does not invite you to relax after a long day of activities. however, we have lived outside a lot, so it was no problem for us. The furniture on the terrace is fine, as is the parasol. the garden is very spacious. the owners are very friendly and always willing to help or advise. the area is quiet but you can ride beautiful routes, cycling or walking. we have had 2 excellent weeks.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay here in the house and used the pool a lot! A great halfway point between Calais and Nice if driving down. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. When we stayed the temperature was over 30 degs outside but it did not feel too warm inside which was helpful. The property has a huge garden with swings and a play house which was fun for the kids to use. The property is about an hour out of Lyon where did a day trip but we mostly stayed at home and played by the pool.

Summary: Very nice and helpful owners, using the swimming pool with them was no problem. Gite was very clean and good. Very nice village of Lay, bakkery and butcher closeby. Only 1 remark: the width of the double bed is only 1.40 m. We had a very good holiday.
