Positive: Absolutely beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. They contacted us after booking to inform us that its worth making reservations in the village as its fairly small so we did exactly that and ate out at the george hotel which we rated highly. The room we stayed in was beautiful and had a great view of the loch, it had a nespresso coffee machine which was a bonus and the decor was stunning. The couple that own the hotel were so friendly and full of local information and tips. They gave impeccable service to their guests. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Loads of options and the breakfast room was again of a high standard with a lovely view. The village was about a ten minute walk away which was another bonus. Will definitely visit again when passing through the area.

Positive: The welcome was very warm - like at a friend's house - personal greeting and chat on arrival. We also highly appreciated Robert's advice about local restaurants and places to visit. The house is in a beautiful location with great views on Loch Fyne and the surrounding hills. The inside of the house is beautifully furnished and shows great attention to detail. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious with an own coffee machine. The view on the loch was stunning! Fantastic fresh breakfast with lots of choices available - the porridge was ever so delicious (thank you Jana!) and again we felt like at home being able to have a little chat in the morning with Robert or Jana. They were both very friendly and helpful - simply the best hosts on our tour through England, Wales and Scotland. Good parking spaces in front of the hotel. An amazing experience - we certainly come back!

Negative: Bathroom remained quite steamy - which is both a plus & a minus - if it cold its lovely.. But I think alot of bathrooms in the UK have this issue - and a good fan would help. But that's probably everywhere

Positive: Rob and Jana were great hosts to their lovely home. Rooms were extremely comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious. Fab location overlooking Loch Fyne and a short walk into Inveraray. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
