Positive: Beautiful rural setting in a gorgeous part of Tasmania. Country farm with chooks dogs and cattle and a very comfortable cottage. I being born in the country of Q’land loved being on a farm and being with the cattle was a highlight. Hosts - Rod & Kim were warm and friendly and treated us like family.

Negative: I have no dislikes at all.

Summary: Great country escape, which I will be highly recommending to family and friends.

Positive: The cows were friendly, the chickens greeted you and walked you to the door, and the dog cracked us up. The place was very comfy and warm. The kitchen supplies were plenty, and the farm fresh eggs a treat. We only stayed one night, but in hindsite, two or three would have been perfect to see the whole area. A little piece of paradise.

Negative: It was all wonderful.

Summary: The best. So far we love Tasmania

Positive: This place is amazing. The cottage was very well equipped and there was also a lovely continental breakfast with freshly laid eggs from the hens which were freely wandering outside. In the field behind there were some lovely Highland cows including some gorgeous calves The following morning Rod took us on a tour of the farm and we brushed the cows. It was great and the views were amazing. There was also a really friendly dog who came to see us in the morning. Would love to have stayed longer it was very relaxing.

Positive: Beautiful location and so very quiet & peaceful. Wonderful hosts. Rod was very giving of his time, showing us the view& introducing us to his Highland Cows &Dozer the gorgeous Kelpie, not to mention the chooks. The cottage was warm and inviting. Highly recommend Ruby Cottage

Negative: There wasn’t anything that we weren’t happy with
