Summary: Got snowed in and was forced to book a hotel in the area for the night To my pleasant surprise, the staff was very caring and hospitable. Provided me alternative route directions for the following morning. The room was spacious yet cozy and very well kept. More than what I could say for most hotels. I don't know when, but I will make an effort to stay again sometime in the future. Hopefully under better circumstances however.

Summary: Hotel was nicer than I had expected. Very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. It’s an older place in the sierras - not the ritz - very nice for where it is and the cost. Definitely recommend on your way up or down the 395.
