Positive: We had a lot of fun with this stay. Its pretty basic accomodation, but with a great eco-adventure focus. I loved having a bonfire; the cabin was really cool and I loved the paintings on the walls. The sparrow that ate out of our hands was amazing. It was a lot of fun walking down to the beach through the gap in the rocks like a secret path, and to the lookout point to see the seals, it felt like an adventure out of Famous Five or Swallows and Amazons. Kids and kids-at-heart who like outdoors will have an absolute blast! It was very convenient being right near the ferry to the mainland the next morning, but it felt very peaceful in the evenings. It was lovely sitting by the fire and only hearing the waves crashing on the shore and birds chirping.

Negative: I wasn't expecting the compost toilets. I'm fine with them and had fun roughing it a bit and having a fun outdoorsy adventure, but people should definitely know what they are getting into. My older Dad who I travelled with struggled a bit more with getting out to it in the middle of the night. Its on me for not checking the descriptions and photos a bit more carefully!

Positive: Cabin is located in a woodland. A few minutes’ walk will take you to a small beach that offers spectacular view of some small islands. We are so excited to see a number of seals resting on one of them.

Positive: We were met by Ludwig who showed us around and helped us to our chalet . The chalet we stayed in was very nice clean and comfortable. It also has everything you would need to cook and keep your food fresh . We had our own outside sheltered kitchen with everything to make and serve meals. We had our own shower and own toilet The property has trails that go down to the beach and through the woods for viewing wild life ,and just another place to hang out. The beach and the chalet have fire pits with wood . if you want to relax by a fire, Its pretty cool Absolutely if you're an outdoor type of person and enjoy wild life this is a really cool place. We enjoyed our stay

Negative: the shower room we thought it could be closer.

Positive: The property is beautifully balanced with nature, and we truly felt a special connection with the place. We were really impressed with how well it’s maintained, offering a peaceful, wild stay while still being so welcoming. The host was wonderful — they accepted and kindly helped with our special request to decorate the place for my husband’s birthday. It made the whole stay extra special and memorable for us. Highly recommended!
