Positive: The property is beautiful with welcoming, smiling and helpful staff. The room was very clean and spacious enough for 3 of us. We still enjoyed the pool, even though it wasn't the best weather. Great hotel to stay at when exploring nearby Hampi.

Negative: The on-site restaurant had some service issues - we ordered 2 plates of pakoras and 3 x tea, after about 40 minutes wait, the pakoras arrived , then after another 15 minutes, the beverages arrived but they served us coffee and not tea... So had to wait some time again for the tea to be served. And by this time the pakoras were cold. We spoke to the on-site F&B Manager, and he provided a fresh serving of hot Pakoras (within 5 minutes), so we could enjoy with our tea.

Positive: Liked the location

Negative: Needs maintenance and better cleaning. We could see insects in the restaurant hovering over the food and AC was not working or not available in common areas. Room AC also was a challenge and despite repeated complaints they were unable to fix it.

Positive: Food was excellent. Linen was impeccable too. Staff was very courteous.

Negative: Exterior paint was found faded n lobby, interiors were not upto the mark, as found in other properties of Royal Orchid chain. Plucking of flowers by their own staff should be banned since quite a few staff members were seen plucking lawn flowers before leaving for home. Elec switches in the lobbies n plates outside the Lift Call button were stained n probably no efforts were made earlier to clean them either.

Summary: Clean rooms with Good A La carte food preparation, location close to hampi is an added advantage .
