Positive: Before our arrival, I was informed that due to circumstances beyond my control, our 7-night one-bedroom booking couldn’t be fulfilled. The host offered an upgraded three-bedroom apartment from the next day and refunded the missed night afterwards. Communication was excellent throughout. The upgraded apartment exceeded our expectations – spacious, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with everything from a dishwasher and washer/dryer to an air fryer. It was perfectly comfortable for our family. The neighborhood was clean, quiet, and charming, with great Italian coffee just two minutes away and quality restaurants and shops nearby in Roslindale Village. We truly appreciated the upgrade and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

Positive: It is a good sized apartment with some very nice features. The appliances we used all worked. The bedding was comfortable, and we had plentiful supplies (Towels, TP, etc.). The keypad entry was easy to use and very easily communicated from the property manager. The neighborhood was quiet and there was plenty of street parking.

Negative: One big thing, and a few small things. First, the big thing: there was a hiccup with the reservation software not informing the manager of our arrival (we booked 4 days before arrival). Thankfully I called early enough in the day before we arrived and the manager quickly provided a place to relax while the room we reserved was cleaned; all good for us, but could be a major problem if someone was arriving late at night. Second, the property has two bathrooms, but only one shower (also a tub). Our party of 4 was able to make that work, but a larger group may struggle. Thirdly, lots of little things need attention. I didn't inform the manager of these things, but they should already know: (1) the shower knob is not securely attached and falls off frequently, especially when using the shower wand; (2) curtains are sometimes sheer and do not fully block out the sun; (3) a few curtain rods are half pulled out of the wall with screws very visible, so much so that I decided not to touch them for fear of the second screw falling out; (4) many floating shelves are poorly installed to the point where they tip forward, again we decided not to touch them in case items placed on them fell off. In the end none of this would prevent me from staying at this location again.

Positive: This accommodation is in a fantastic location, close to shops restaurants and train station but also very quiet. It is also incredibly good value. You do need to travel to the centre of Boston but it was really nice being in a local commuter residence.
