Positive: This is pleasant 1930s building , I’m guessing, all the rooms are huge by modern standards. It stands on its own plot and parking. I rate the breakfast exceptional, many good food options to suit everyone. Everything in the hotel is ordered and cleaned and polished to a very high standard, attention to detail evident everywhere. There is a relaxed and very pleasant period furnished lounge with tea and coffee and biscuits provided.
Negative: Altogether a very comfortable hotel, the weather was cold and wind very strong from the north and our room did cool very quickly once the heating went off
Summary: a pleasant stay
