Positive: The little kitchen had everything you needed to cook some simple meals and breakfasts. The area was super quiet and well kept. Great links to the A30 and Redruth for shops, attractions, beaches etc.

Summary: Lovely little hut! Was perfect to visit all the local attractions nearby. Very quite and secluded.

Negative: So, from the morning of checking in to the last day I couldn’t get hold of the owner as they didn’t update there details on the app. We was there for 5 nights but only received 1 bedding, 1 toilet roll, no washing up liquid, and 2 very soft thin towels. I finally got hold of them the day before leaving as her mother in law gave me her number. We wasn’t allowed even 1 more towel or fresh bedding unless extra charge but we was only couple in the huts the whole 5 days we were there or another towel. I think that is greedy and unhygienic from the owner. My hair is very thick I could never use 2 soft cheap towels for 5 nights! N also in such a small hut with a grown man in my bed I needed fresh bedding! We actually slept without bedding for the last 2 nights. But, if we booked 5 nights in 2 separate bookings we could’ve had clean bedding.

Summary: Would only come back if I had nowhere else to go due to not giving us clean bedding or towels…

Positive: The host has been very responsive and answered my queries swiftly, she allowed me to check in earlier and overall I had very pleasant time staying at Rose.

Negative: the only thing which was a little annoying, was being close to the main road and could hear all the passing cars going through road at the national speed limit 60mph.

Positive: location.. aslong as you’re driving this place is perfect… everything you need within 30min(ish) smart tv - thought this was a fantastic extra although signal was intermittent comfortable double bed with fridge and sink

Negative: shower hose burst on day 2 out of 3.. messaged the owner via booking but didn’t get any response.. had to resort to public showers in nearby resort locations

Positive: Rose is an adorable shepherd's hut nestled in a well maintained garden within a farm. The attention to detail in its furnishings makes it a cozy haven. The hut is extremely well appointed despite its compact size. The bed is very comfortable and I have to say I slept really well during my stay. And what better way to explore Cornwall than from such a charming base. Even though April weather may not have been ideal for outdoor eating, the picnic table provided outside definitely adds to the experience. The host communication after booking was prompt and detailed and the check-in process hassle-free. Rose definitely offers a blend of comfort, convenience and countryside charm for a delightful getaway.

Negative: The proximity to a busy road might detract from the tranquility, especially during peak tourist season when the area bustles with activity. The offer of a fob key to exit the main gate (car sensor activated) on foot was offered but unfortunately never materialised. Additionally, suggestions for amenities such as a hairdryer in the bathroom and a blind for the door glass panel to aid with undisturbed mornings would enhance the comfort of future guests and elevate the experience.
