Positive: It seemed that I fell into a fancy world. Love the secret garden especially, where you may hide under the big Christmas tree leisurely, listening to birds singing. Autumn is a perfect season to explore the garden.

Positive: A beautiful place to stay with exceptionally lovely hosts. We were made to feel so welcome. We did not have a car so the host very kindly gave us lifts to the bus stop and even into Christchurch for our early bus to Queenstown. We were unable to get out for meals but the hosts invited us to eat with them for a very reasonable price. Great food and great company. Beautiful garden with stream and secret hanging chairs to enjoy and relax in.
