Positive: About 25 minutes drive from Quito’s airport. Exactly what we needed to relax and reorganize after time in the Amazon. Location is right on the main road, so it’s easy to walk to restaurants and markets for food to cook in the beautiful apartment kitchen. But also the location of the apartment is set back from the road, so the setting is quiet and private. Beautiful gardens, lovely apartment and a friendly host, Vicente. Thank you, Vicente!

Positive: It was an entire house to ourselves, with use of a washing machine and dryer. The house itself is beautiful, and the owner is very sweet and helpful. He’s also served as our taxi driver.

Negative: It’s not near much in the way of tourism.

Summary: This house was the best place we stayed in our whole trip in Ecuador.
