Positive: Breakfast N/A. Location was very rural, a bit further out than we expected but once i stopped missing the driveway it was great.

Negative: Nothing. It was great. Unfortunate for us technically challenged people that we were unable to operate some of the equipment. Lol.

Summary: Would stay again especially with the Puketapu Tavern so close. Ate there twice. Yummy.

Negative: The weather 😜 it turned a bit cold, but staying in rose cottage made our stay bliss...I can not fault anything with the cottage etc..

Positive: Beautiful rural setting, surrounded by lovely gardens, paddocks and hills. Hosts were amazing; friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a tour of the gardens. Cottage had everything we needed with many mod-cons. Nice and warm with good natural light and a nice deck with bean bags to lounge on. Beautiful oak tree lined driveway.

Positive: Our stay was impeccable, we wished we had booked more than 2 nights! Janiene and David were excellent hosts who had thought of everything and were so accomodating in giving us a tour around the property and the beautiful historical home. The kitchen was more than equipped for staying in and cooking, the additional touches (speakers for music, lawn games, wool blankets in the al fresco area, coffee machine, umbrellas by the door) did not go unnoticed. This is the perfect country escape. We would highly recommend the local cycling wine tours in the area, but also make sure you book an extra night or two to enjoy this beautiful property on its own!

Positive: It was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our trip. Very clean, spacious, comfy and modern. Well equipped kitchen with everything available (even flour to make pancakes e.g.) Although it was too cold to use: there is a swimming pool (towels are provided) and a nice terrace to sit outside. Loved the country side location. The host is a lovely lady.
