Positive: We liked the tranquil location amidst the large garden/fields and the great view of the river Rother and the Isle of Oxney beyond. The cottage had everything we needed and was comfortable and functional. The owner has put a lot of thought into providing everything a visitor might need, including extras such as the coffee machine. The owner gave us a warm welcome and her home-made scones with jam and clotted cream were a lovely gesture for our arrival.

Negative: No dislikes.

Positive: The cottage is just marvellous: tastefully furnished, with cozy beds, giving the feeling of a typically English cottage out in the country. We enjoyed our breakfadt al fresco on the terrace with a view of the Romney Marshes. Hiking paths nearby - Rye just a few munutes' drive - and easy train connection for a day out in London. Our host Lynda is a charming lady who welcomed us with her muffins. It was so nice having a chat with her now and then. We should have spent more than just for just here.
