Positive: Absolutely fantastic property! Well equipped and so clean. Quiet, comfortable and a home from home! Margaret and Phil lovely, Monty the dog crazy and a real fusspot. We will definitely be back! Ate at The Eyre Arms just a few minutes walk from the accommodation! The best steak and ale pie ever!!

Positive: Owners were very welcoming, friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is serene and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Negative: The accommodation is quite small but nicely designed and maintained. It was entirely sufficient for our needs, and reasonably priced.

Positive: Where to start… The communication at the start was faultless, followed by the welcome from Margaret and later from Phil and Monty the dog. Rose Cottage is directly on their property so the lovely welcome made us feel at ease. The place was immaculate, on entering, it smelt beautiful and very well presented. The bed, bedding and pillows were amazing, best nights sleep in months. It was absolutely silent during the night which is a rarity for us. Everything was so lovely; the beautiful fragrance of the fluffy white towels, the toiletries, the jams, milk, croissants, great selection of biscuits, the choice of bottled water, the tea, coffee, everything needed was there, including sky TV (not that we really watched it) the quality of the little place was perfect. We visited the local pub, Eyre Inn, the greeting there was so welcoming and the food was outstanding so worth a visit. Such a relaxing stay

Negative: Maybe an extra lamp in the living area (far from a criticism) saves putting all the spot lights on and makes it cozy (we used the one from the bedroom)

Positive: Beautifully clean and well presented, plenty of space for two people and all the home comforts you could need including fresh milk, tea and coffee, freshly baked croissants and biscuits! The ramped entrance to the property and accessibility aids in the wet room were a huge plus for my partner who has mobility issues. Owner was incredibly helpful and hospitable.

Negative: We wouldn’t change a thing!
