Positive: This place is perfect. Beautiful surroundings. Extremely peaceful which is just what we wanted/needed. Jo was the perfect host. Friendly and helpful. Such a lovely lady and made us feel at home. Would love to stay again given the chance and would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting an escape to from the city for a few days. 10/10

Positive: This retreat was the perfect way to end to my solo travels around the North Island. It’s such a beautiful gem nested in gorgeous, peaceful surroundings with stunning views of ocean. All the facilities are great - big comfortable bed, amazing bathroom and spacious communal areas. Jo was there to greet me when I arrived, she made me feel very welcome as a solo female traveller and was a lovely host throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place and will be returning with friends and family!!

Positive: We cannot recommend Raglan Travellers Rest enough. We had an absolute wonderful time, Jo is an incredible host and we even got the office space to use because we had some remote work to do. There are many places to visit from the property and it's a great vantage point, but honestly staying home and enjoying the views/sunset/hot tub are just as special. We decided to extend our stay one more night, do I need to say more? Thanks again for the great stay!

Positive: The property is superbly appointed, spacious, luxurious, every conceivable comfort and use of a full kitchen. The view to the mountains and the sea is stunning. The hostess/manager could not have been more obliging. After many years with booking.com we rate this far higher than any other property.

Positive: We had an amazing couple of days at the Raglans Traveller Rest. The location is truly stunning (that sunset..!) and the house is just as incredible with so many little things making it stand out. The stay would not have been so perfect without Jo, the onsite hostess, as she made us feel right at home from the first second. Thank you for your kindness and for the lovely stay, that was exactly what we needed.

Positive: The place is located in a rural area, fair distance outside Raglan. I liked the location, nice view of the sea in the distance. Not too far to a nice beach, and also not too far from a beautiful waterfall (bridal veil falls). Very nice house (which you share with other quests). We had our own bathroom and room, rest of facilities is shared. The hot tub is shockingly small, can only fit one person at a time, and in a bit of an akward place. View from porch is great.

Negative: It is not clear from the website that you share the house with other people. It did not bother me that much, but one of the other guests were not happy at all.
