Summary: Peaceful and stunning rural views. Remote. Not so good as a base if weather wet/ windy unless happy to curl up with a book. Not a base for gourmet cooking..fine if you are happy to bbq or microwave food ..funky separate cabin for dining and the bbq.

Summary: We stayed for three nights and had a great time - the location is amazing with great views and very clean, nicely appointed accommodation - the outdoor dining area was an extra plus! Summary: Mike and Kate are great hosts. They're very kind and offered us carrots and courgettes from their garden which we appreciated. They've made a fantastic job of decorating the sun room which was a nice place to have a BBQ and to dine. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. My daughter loved the chickens and was even allowed to pick one up. Not too far from the bridal veil falls and windmills (5 minutes away) and Raglan was a 15-20 minute drive away. Fantastic views and beautiful sunsets. It's a country paradise.
