Positive: It was really clean, comfortable, spacious, nice standard of decoration. A lovely feel to the place. Lovely location - right by favourite Lake, and fab view with outside garden space and nice furniture (to use in better weather!) Easy to walk to Ambleside. Good facilities - in kitchen, great showers, bed v comfortable, nice linen, and towels big and clean. bathroom lighting in en-suite clever!

Negative: Only a few minor issues - parking space v tight, but could use guest parking - if available En-suite shower dripped (all night) - just needs a replacement washer or head… staff aware probably as a small towel was left underneath …but still made a noise! Could have done with a few of the immediate instructions being obvious straight away (in kitchen or lounge on a laminated sheet)- e.g. about switching stop cock on, alternative parking space, where bins/recycling area is located outside, slightly simpler heating instructions.

Summary: A wonderful brief trip, which was enhanced by lovely accommodation and location. Will definitely return there and recomm
