The studio is in a very charming Sixteenth-century building, once dwelled by the workmen of S. Peter’s factory and later by the guards of the Pope. Its location in the very centre of Rome allows you to enjoy the city at any time of the day and to reach the main touristic places on foot. Besides, the area is very well served by public transport: buses to all directions are very close to the building, and the nearest underground station is just 300 meters away. Restored in 2005 and redecorated in June 2008 the studio is tastefully furnished with everything you need for a pleasant holiday: a perfectly functioning air conditioner provides comfortable climate in any weather conditions; two additional beds for young people are available in the mezzanine which is reachable by a ladder. The small kitchen has two fires and a microwave oven, a toaster and everything you need to prepare breakfast and simple dishes. All you need for ironing, the hairdryer and a washing machine are also available. The place is rather quiet since the street in front of the building is for local traffic only and double glazed windows protect from excessive noise. The area is historical, picturesque, pleasant, safe to visit day and night and closed to the traffic; it is also rich of typical restaurants and shops.

Summary: Host super friendly and very welcoming. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and quickly made us feel at home. Her apartment was cozy and provided anything and everything you could need during a trip. The place was clean and centrally located. . We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: "I would like to confirm with pleasure that the apartment has fully met our expectations. It is exactly what a family with a child would need for its stay in Rome. It is an excellent location - very pleasant, historic area, however not crowded with tourists, we would definitely recommend the district in comparison with what we have seen in other parts of the historical center. The owner, Cristina, is very kind, helpful and it is pleasure to communicate with her."

Most of the major sights are within a walking distance, and there are good bus & metro connections when you want to explore other areas in and outside Rome. The flat is very clean, tidy and well-kept with everything you need. It is a small flat, but thanks to many clever details it is extremely functional and planned with good taste. For us (my wife and I) there was well enough room - also 2 beds available for 2 kids not used. The apartment is situated on the ground floor by a quiet street with very little noise or traffic. For us one of the very best points of the apartment also include the wonderful and friendly service offered by the owner; promt and precise e-mail answers, very helpful information on public transport, useful hints on sights and activities etc. She truly is a good example on the art of hospitality."

Summary: "The flat was very clean, well arranged,& just as the photos depicted. The ground floor location was perfect - the windows blocked street noise when shut. It is very small & compact but it is close to the bus and tourist attractions. We walked to many sites. Grocery store, internet spot & tobacco shop are very close, as well as many restaurants."

Summary: "It's on the ground floor, with not to much sunlight coming in. But you can leave the window open as there is a heavy grate on the window. Although the street is small, it is somewhat noisy as you here the traffic from the main street. If you close the window the noise is very low as it isolates very well. Regards, Nikolaus "
