Positive: Andrea was very hospitable and kind to my family . Great location. Very roomy and light apartment - well appointed with everything we needed and more . We were a multi generational Family of 9 - we all had plenty of room to spread out, made a few wonderful meals and nice cool AC to escape the afternoon heat after sight seeing. Andrea provided great recommendations and checked in with us several times. Despite a shaky start due to a booking.com platform error we were able to resolve things and had an excellent overall experience.

Positive: The entire apartment is beautiful! Very large, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and suggest lots of local restaurants. We had plenty of space for our family of 7 and a it's a lovely area to stay away from the crowds and tourist traps of central Rome. Easy bus connections in to the tourist areas and the train station.

Positive: The property is in a beautiful lively and safe residential area of Rome, a few minutes walking distance to Villa Borghese and Fiume, There is a bus stop a few steps away. Just opposite the building is the newly opened MACRO, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome. Different kind of restaurants, shops and supermarkets are also very close. We also loved the big space of the apartment, cosy and comfy!

Negative: Sorry, I have no suggestions, the place was perfect. And I didn't just have a Nice Stay, I also had a very good sleep...

Positive: The apartment was super clean and really spacious. The beds were big and very comfortable, and the showers were great too! Our host Andrea was amazing. He gave us fantastic restaurant tips and lots of advice on what to do (and what not to do) in Rome. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Positive: Rome Nice Stays was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, it was near a bus stop and a great local market. Our host was very personal, met us when we first checked in, had great communication, and helped with all our needs. The place had plenty of room for a large party. We would definitely stay here again.

Negative: It's not super close to any Metro stations, but as mentioned above, there are numerous nearby bus stations and it is very walkable from there as well.

Positive: The property is located in the Salario area of Rome, a short walk from the Villa Borghese and museum (which is well worth a visit). Whilst not in the centre of Rome, a 20 minute walk or if you prefer a bus ride (1.5 euros) gets you to the action, the bus stop a 2 minute walk from the apartment. There are a couple of supermarkets and a more traditional market as well as several cafes within a 5 minute walk. The local restaurants are less tourist orientated, with some great options recommended by the host. The ground floor apartment worked perfectly for us with 4 spacious double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all with excellent showers. The kitchen (which we didn't use that much!) is well equipped including a Nespresso pod coffee machine. There is a good sized sitting room with smart TV (which again, wasn't needed!). All rooms were spotless and had remote controlled air conditioning which worked perfectly. Outside noise was minimal overnight during our stay in September. The host Andrea was fantastic, meeting us on arrival and providing great tips for sightseeing (including a detailed map with marked routes) and local restaurant recommendations.

Negative: We cannot think of any significant negatives.

Summary: Rome is superb; a fantastic apartment and host make it even better!

Positive: The host greeted us on arrival, assisted with luggage (roughly 15 steps to get luggage up) and gave a full tour of the apartment with a very thorough explanation on how everything works and recommendations on best restaurants and itinerary ideas. Essentials plus more were provided in the kitchen which made the apartment feel very welcoming. All rooms including the 3 full bathrooms were very clean and had everything you need to be comfortable. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Ample towels per person and shower toiletries provided. The location was perfect. A minute away from a supermarket. A bus stop on the same street out the front, and also a tram stop 1 block away.
