Positive: Ariana was the perfect host; very personable and accommodating. She was helpful and answered all our questions, plus gave us advice and tips to start and end our holiday. The wine, snacks, chocolates and biscuits were very welcomed as well as being a lovely touch. The accommodation was excellent; well equipped, comfortable beds, and situated in a great location close to the beach. For those who like a walk, it is possible to reach most of the main attractions of Porto city within 1.5hours along the river front. Alternatively, there is a bus stop very nearby with (at the time of writing) the Bus 500 making regular stops at a cost of 2Euros each way and it only took about 10 minutes. You could try the vintage tram too at a cost of 6 Euros which was great fun and took 20 minutes. There are a few good eateries close to the accommodation too - we tried Bar Tolo, Praia da Luz and a couple of others. All very good! Would highly recommend!
