Positive: Very thoughtfully set out, everything available for your needs. Swimming Pool to yourself is bliss and the hot tub was amazing, especially on a cold day. Amazing decor, and the shower pressure was fabulous. Beautiful views. Super comfortable. Housekeeper was really friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.

Negative: Couldn't get the main oven to work, but was only stopping for a couple of nights so didn't really matter. Was a little on the cold side, but there is a temperature booster, so that was pretty much sorted. Didn't affect our enjoyment, absolute paradise.

Positive: Very peaceful location with beautiful rural outlook but not far from Bakewell. Spa facilities were exceptional.

Positive: Location was 10/10, beautiful grounds and what a view from the terrace! Found the bed incredibly comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower! Unique decor full of antiques. Helpful staff, Lolly the housekeeper was lovely and was great to be able to access them for little questions by text.

Negative: Nothing I didn't like! Would make a few suggestions though to make the experience even better: smart TV upgrade could be nice, cover over the hot tub as it was raining during our trip, outside hooks to hang our dressing gowns during the hot tube use, oil provided for cooking as we didn't think to bring! Just small little things that didn't tarnish our stay but would have improved it.

Positive: Picturesque location and easy to find. Perfect for a couples get away. Close to Bakewell and Stoke for days out but also comfortable enough to practice r&r with the pool and spa. Well equipped kitchen but if you don't feel like cooking a list of local eateries and takeaways were provided on booking
