The Bush Point Hideaway is a charming two bedroom home situated on a picturesque and private one acre bluff lot overlooking Admiralty Inlet (the shipping lanes) and the Olympic Mountains. All ships going to and from Seattle pass by our home! Westside views are Whidbey Islands finest.
The Hideaway is furnished with an eclectic mix of antiques and newer furniture. Home features include: Gorgeous water views from all main rooms / two large bedrooms with queen size beds / fully equipped kitchen / knotty pine vaulted ceilings / Smart TV / wireless internet access / stereo / big wrap around view deck with lots of privacy / Soothing view hot tub / warm and cozy gas fireplace. We also have bird feeders that will provide plenty of entertainment from most rooms in the house.
Beachcombing and exploring on a sandy beach is just a 10 minute walk away. Or you can drive there in about 2 minutes. Beautiful sunsets, great hiking trails and South Whidbey State Park just a mile away. Plus a comforting hot tub, cozy fireplace, BBQ and two outdoor eating areas with water views. It's all here for you! We know all the great points of interest, restaurants, festivals, events and activities. We will gladly help you make your visit a very special one!
The Hideaway is centrally located between Langley and Coupeville, near the town of Freeland. Just a little over an hour from Seattle. South Whidbey State Park with some lovely hiking trails is just a mile down the road!

Summary: This property was lovely and as advertised. The improvements I would recommend are that the kitchen utensils should be upgraded, particularly the pots and pans, and the dining room chairs need cushions or should be replaced with chairs that are more comfortable. Mark was responsive and nice. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Summary: The view was wonderful, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was clean and nice and hot. What more could you ask for? Big kitchen and a fireplace? Check. We had a wonderful weekend. Wish we had planned a longer stay.

Summary: My mother and I visited Whidbey over Christmas and this was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting family and friends in the sound. We wanted to stay somewhere that felt like home, and Mark and Colleen’s place fit the bill perfectly.Nothing about the house is new—but it’s clean, cozy, well appointed, and you can feel the warmth and personality of its hosts. The view is amazing, beds are very comfortable, and I can imagine the expansive outdoor areas are a delight in warmer weather. It feels out of the way when you are there, but it’s nice and close to great restaurants and grocery stores, and less than 15 minutes from the ferry. A winter storm blew through that threatened to put power out on the island and Mark was proactive in reaching out and letting us know what to expect and how to keep the house lit and heated in an emergency. Every step of the way, they were cordial, great communicators and you can tell how much they care about their place and making guests comfortable. Very refreshing to feel the human touch of kind people who have a nice place they work hard to share with others. We’re excited to visit again in the future.
