Positive: Location is beautiful, rooms are generous and spacious, nice pool and small gym. Layout overall is a little quirky - it’s definitely an event centre more than a hotel

Positive: Arrived late in evening and the man on reception, was very helpful. In morning the breakfast was very good. They catered for gluten free people and went out of their way to help.
Negative: Bar shut early

Negative: A long walk to the room from entering the building.The double bed was the least wide I have experienced for some time. Often nowadays in hotels 2single beds are put together to form one double bed and this gives flexibility for the hotels purposes and more comfort for guests. Pity not adopted here with the bigger rooms .The double bed used would not give some larger couples much room for manoeuvre !
Summary: Pleasant hotel in parkland setting but scope for a little more sleep comfort.

Positive: Location and setting were exceptional. Facilities were excellent and beautiful. Staff were incredibly helpful and also all seemed to enjoy working there. Food was great.

Positive: Location was exceptional with beautiful surroundings for walks. Room was clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. Good shower and bathroom and very friendly staff. A real gem.
Negative: Toilet tiny and a bit clunky and the toilet roll was situated on the wrong side of the toilet and fell off every time you used it.
Summary: Peaceful and comfortable, lovely food and very friendly.

Positive: The welcome was lovely .. and the room (60 .. quite a hike from reception) was lovely too. We did find the double bed a wee bit small .. a bigger bed would have been far more comfortable, especially as the room was large enough to take it. It was a lovely room though, and the bathroom facilities were excellent too .. with a very good shower! Nice bar but rather a limited bar menu.
Negative: The bed was too small compared to other hotel rooms of that standard and price, but being a conference hotel we believe it is very much geared up for 'single' visitors ... hence the small bed.
Summary: Very nice hotel for just an overnight ... but very definitely a busy conference venue.
