Positive: Warm welcome to a stay in a really comfortable characterful property. Great location for walking. The breakfast was great. Loved the homemade yoghurt.

Negative: It’s a note not a criticism as nothing can be done about this - the drive is a little tight for getting in and out.

Summary: A relaxing stay in a beautiful and welcoming B&B. We would highly recommend.

Positive: Lizzie and her husband were unbelievably welcoming. Always happy to stop and chat and give advice on where to go and where to eat. The log burner on a cold afternoon was superb. Breakfast was perfect. Can not rate the B&B highly enough. Recommend The Lathkil Hotel for a Sunday Roast. Spot on.

Negative: To be honest there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Summary: A well needed get away. A perfect wedding. Fantastic scenery. Great pubs, great food.

Positive: It was an authentic creaky old property in a beautiful sleepy area surrounded by countryside. Exactly what we wanted. Lizzie and Paul were very friendly and helpful. Some great places to eat within walking distance. We did a 7hr circular hike with a stop off at a pub along the way. Nice to have a bath to soak our aching bodies afterwards!

Negative: The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful but didn’t realise until we got there that there wasn’t a full English option.

Positive: Nice home with comfortable rooms and a living room with tv at guest’s disposal as well as drinks hot and cold at any hour. Good full english breakfast . Lizzie and Paul are very helpful and kind, full of good advises about places to go and pub to eat at. Very close to wonderful and famous palaces (Chatsworth, to mention but one) and the amazing Peak District villages and paths.
