Rock Creek is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream located just 45 minutes from Missoula, Montana and Missoula International Airport. A favorite stream for wade fishermen and women. Small enough to navigate by foot and large enough to provide a healthy habitat for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat, Trout, Brook Trout and Bull Trout. Rock Creek drains from The Pintlar Wilderness in SW Montana, making for a crystal clear mountain stream. Bighorn Sheep are often viewed just off the Rock Creek Road and on occasion pass through the subject property. Eagles, Osprey, Moose, Fox, Otters, Black Bears, Deer and Elk also inhabit the drainage. Rock Creek is surrounded by Forest Service for an array of hiking and biking opportunities.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay. Not too far off the beaten path but far enough to get away. Nice trail to the creek, lots of space to hang outdoors including a great screened in porch. We would definitley stay again.
