Positive: The hotel was located in the most picturesque setting. Looked like a postcard. Alisio and Stella who own the hotel were kind and helpful. We felt like royalty in a dream.
Negative: The accessibility. If you have trouble walking this is not a hotel for you - it is a 2.5 min uphill slope to reach the top of the hill. Although your luggage is carried up- going out and back is a little difficult....

Positive: A gorgeous hotel in an absolutely stunning location. Perched high ontop of a hill, the climb to the hotel is so worth it. The views are fabulous! Our host, Alessio was charming and extremely helpful, messaging us before arrival to ask if we needed help carrying our bags up to the hotel. He has a motorised luggage cart to help with the steep climb. We came prepared for the walk up to the hotel, so found it enjoyable, particularly because the paths and gardens are so beautifully kept. Our daily climb was part of the experience. Breakfast was served in Cafe Roma, which is situated in Varella, about a 10 minute leisurely stroll. Breakfast was delicious - wonderful coffee, fresh orange juice and amazing pastries. We loved taking breakfast with the locals. It was all part of the experience. The hotel accommodation was of a high standard and our room was lovely. We loved opening the patio doors each morning to soak up the views. Extremely comfortable bed and the shower was divine. We had a truly wonderful stay here. The peace and quiet was just perfect!

Positive: The room in the tower is decorated beautifully. This accommodation is unique. Views are beautiful. The pool is just fabulous and the whole vibe of Roccolo is something special. Staff were friendly and helped to transport luggage up to accommodation.
Negative: The parking and climb to accommodation are unfortunate and sadly just took the shine off this special accommodation for us. The air fan is ineffective which is surprising as every other aspect in the room has been maticulously planned and completed to a very high standard. Not sure the breakfast tarrif is worth paying for a coffee and a croissant served off site.
