Positive: We had an amazing stay at Riverview Retreat in Kerikeri and couldn't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Linda greeted us with the biggest smile and made us feel so welcome. She took the time to show my partner and me around, explaining where everything was, including extra towels, blankets, and how to use the heaters. Even though it was cold, she kindly let us know we were more than welcome to use the pool if we wanted. We also had the chance to catch up with Phil, who was just as friendly and welcoming. Both Linda and Phil are incredible hosts who genuinely care about their guests and made sure we knew to let them know if we needed anything during our stay. One thing we absolutely loved was that Linda had put together a really helpful information book with recommendations for places to visit around Kerikeri, great local places to eat, and information on nearby supermarkets. It was such a thoughtful touch and made exploring the area so much easier. The accommodation itself was fantastic. The space was spotless, the large windows opened right up, and the view was absolutely stunning. The shower had the best water pressure, and the heating kept the place nice and cosy. And the bed... wow! It was the most comfortable super king bed we've ever slept in not too soft and not too firm, just perfect. After spending long days at a league tournament, it was exactly what we needed to come back, relax, and get a great night's sleep. Thank you, Linda and Phil, for your wonderful hospitality. You both went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Kerikeri again!
