Peaceful getaway, newly remodeled riverfront studio apartment that sleeps 3(1 Qn bed, 1 couch for small child) comfortably on Farmington River. Quiet, studio apartment overlooks garden with chicken and turkeys in backyard. Surrounding area with infinite access points to Farmington river in New Hartford, Barkhamsted and Riverton. PLEASE NOTE WE CAN NOT PROVIDE RIVER ACCESS as we raise poultry in the yard. Apartment is located 1 mile from town center with homemade ice cream and farm store and antique shop. Also within 1 mile of Ski Sundown. Kayak, paddleboard or tubing rentals within short distance. Surroundings include river access for fly fishing, Peoples State Forest, MDC, West Hill and Highland lakes for beach and boat access. Excellent spot for any fisherman or folks that wish to get away and explore nature. Neighboring Riverton has glass blowing studio, ice cream and local eatery.
We provide a quiet getaway without a TV so you can escape and enjoy nature and its surroundings.

Summary: What a great place! It was super cute and very clean. Pretty views of the garden, chickens and turkeys right on the river. We even bought some fresh garlic during our stay. John was very responsive to any questions we had and was very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Summary: Overall good as I really only needed a bed and a shower as I had events planned. I did however hit my head on the ceiling multiple times, once pretty bad in the dark. I was not aware of no TV being present. I didnt ask initially thinking that was an automatic for rentals. Ive never had a bnb or hotel not have a tv. Not necessary but its nice to know. Nice, private and secluded area was a nice change for me coming from busy West Palm Beach
