Positive: The location was lovely, peaceful, nestled in a very private spot on the White River, well buffered from the few residential properties flanking the property. We saw only one neighbor briefly during our entire stay. There is an active railroad track nearby, but traffic was not frequent and we did not find it disturbing. Abundant and comfortable seating inside and outside - huge deck overlooking the river, Small private dock for limited fishing and watching the boats go by (serious fishermen will want to explore elsewhere). The upstairs bedrooms are quite large with multiple sleeping arrangements - perfect for multiple couples with children who will share their rooms - as in our group. PLUS an upstairs playroom with toys for the kids, and an ample selection of games for everyone downstairs. A welcome basket with snacks, choice of Kuerig and percolator (with some K cups provided). Washer and dryer available. Second refrigerator in garage, accessible via a breezeway from the kitchen, so plenty of room for drinks, ice and groceries. Comfortable furniture. Everything was very clean. Temperature control was good, upstairs and down. Beautiful yard with room for kids to run and play. Clearly a lot of thought has been given to guest comfort and we felt privileged to have the opportunity to stay here.

Negative: The downstairs bath serves the downstairs bedroom and serves as the only downstairs toilet. This was a little inconvenient at times, but minor. Noise transmission to the downstairs bedroom from upstairs can be a problem if lots of foot traffic or active kids.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here very much. Highly recommend.
