Positive: Superb location, overlooking the river Avon. Gorgeous views! Very comfortable, clean, quality amenities. The hosts had anticipated so many needs and amply provided for them. I loved staying here, it was a real safe haven during a difficult trip for a funeral and sorting family affairs nearby. Great communication from owners, friendly and helpful. Loved the idea of sauna and hot tub but didn't have time to use them. Lovely pub two doors up for dinner, but all the facilities available in cottage to cook. Gift basket on arrival too, was very thoughtful. Downstairs living was possible for my elderly father who has limited mobility. En suite double bedroom on ground floor was perfect for him.

Negative: A bit steep, uneven paving entry to property, dad had to pyche himself up to manage it, and take in stages,but did get there.

Positive: The property was furnished comfortably and exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub and robes. It was really private out the back and with great views to the front.

Negative: A high slope from the drive to the property so less mobile people or young children may find it a little tricky and need to take extra care.

Summary: Wonderful stay and would definitely return. This is the cleanest property we have stayed at.

Positive: This cottage was absolutely stunning, very clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, air fryer, coffee machine etc. Hot tub and sauna was so relaxing.

Positive: We had sent Brian a message with our arrival time and he was at the cottage to greet us, and show us around. The location was perfect for us, as we walk a lot, and we could do this without using the car. The hot tub and sauna were perfect to ease aching muscles afterwards.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike. The kitchen was well equipped and open plan, with a door out to the patio, hot tub, and sauna, all of which were surrounded by a high fence, making it very private. We just used downstairs, as the bedroom had an en-suite. There is a slope up to the front door, which even on a frosty morning was not slippery. However, if you had difficulty walking, this might be an issue. I am in my 70's and didn't find it a problem.
