Summary: Great restaurant, food was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and offered great suggestions for things to do. Shout out to Louise🤗. Room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The window could use a cleaning to improve the beautiful view of the French River however this did not offend us. Nice dock for fishing and plenty kayaks/canoes. Public beach only 5 minutes away was great for swimming. We had a very nice time at this resort. Would visit again.

Summary: The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. There was a lot of wear and tear on the room. It was fine for a one night stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay long. Having access to the river and kayaks made up for how run down the motel looked.

Summary: We came on a day when the on property restaurant is closed (Sunday and Monday). The owner was very prompt and sent us details for self check in. We had a big room with two queen beds. Very comfortable beds and linens. We had access to the river and their canoes and kayaks. The owner went above and beyond in helping us out with an item that we forgot in room after checkout. They are a blessed and a kind soul.

Summary: Average experience, Won't recommend Pros: - Nice location - Quiet - Clean bedding and bathroom Cons: - Dirty coffeemaker (Shared in Pictures) - Hot water smelled pungent. - Restaurant closed on Sunday is a problem considering isolated nature of the place. -Window drapes were short from either side which compromises privacy. - No staff throughout the stay. (Self check in and check out) - Gaps in windows which lead bugs inside the room. - No electric kettle provided considering they provide tea bags.

Summary: Booked through Expedia, arrived went to check in and they did not want to accept the rate or honour it. Staff was very rude. I showed the the confirmation and price and they finally called the manager and adjusted the price. The place is run down, beautiful view but the windows are mouldy so you can see through them.
