Positive: Beautiful cottage, great outside area, lovely location set in a village, on the rivers edge and near a park too so ideal for children. It's only a matter of minutes from Scunthorpe retail park as well as a huge Tesco's and minutes from where our family live so it was a perfect location for us! Absolutely wonderful host! Lovely, kind lady, very helpful, welcoming and great with communication. Sara even boiled the kettle for us just before we arrived which was lovely! Overall we had an amazing stay, will definitely stay again and we highly recommend staying at Riverbank Cottage! Thank you so much Sara, we will see you again in a few months 😊

Positive: Massive house. The views from one of the living rooms are stunning. The check-in was pretty easy. The house has everything you need. Nice garden with plenty of space for the car. Very quiet and respectful area.

Negative: Two of the beds were for kids and a bit smaller. The mattresses could be more comfortable, but manageable for a couple of nights. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Positive: Sara met us at the time arranged and showed us in. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits much appreciated after our journey. It is a perfect location with a lovely sheltered garden and amazing river views from upstairs. Homely, clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Sara.

Positive: Lovely and spacious with all amenities that you could need. Perfect for our group of 5 (was supposed to be 6) and we all got to cook together. It was just lovely.

Negative: As its an older cottage it does have spiders occasionally. The rest of the group lucky was fine with this they just had to keep catching them for me!

Positive: Location was great and view from second floor lounge was lovely. Quiet location for those seeking a rest or peace. Perfect for accessing all the area has to offer.host was very welcoming, warm and helpful.

Negative: Very tight drive small cars only. Parked on roadside. Furniture in parts were a little tired but homely though.

Positive: Good location and lots of space in the house, especially with three young children.

Negative: The house could have been cleaner, for example cobwebs on furniture and rubber bath mats were grubby. Had to take our own towels.
