Summary: I didn’t read the details of it being a daylight basement but it sure didn’t feel like one. The hosts were great and accommodating. The daylight had everything we needed and some. Hardly noticed the hosts living upstairs. Beware best for one vehicle. Two if needed can be accommodated. Great serene place to stay.

Summary: Amidst the busyness of graduation weekend, it was wonderful to have a quiet place to rest in between activities; sit by the river and listen to the birds. We saw beavers, fish jumping, bald eagles, and were able to take the kyaks out for an evening paddle. Generous provision of amenities (coffee, snacks included) and linens. So appreciated Carolyn's flexibility with our changing plans, including adding a baby to the mix (who enjoyed the toys provided)! This is our 2nd time here and we hope to come back next time we visit our son.

Summary: This was my third stay at Eagles Nest and I loved every minute. Carolyn and Doug are great hosts and all around nice people. I got to see the pair of bald eagles that live in the neighborhood several times during this visit. This is the perfect get away spot if you want peace and quiet and a good location for anything you’re doing in the Spokane area.

Summary: Spent a week at Eagles Nest and couldn’t have been happier. The location is perfect for me for a number of reasons and the setting is beautiful. This was the second time I stayed during the last week of October and I’ll be back again next year, for sure. Carolyn and Doug couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Lovely people, lovely location!
