Positive: Cosy, artistic, great use of space. Beautifully equipped. Next to a burn/ stream which was so relaxing. Village pub 5 minutes walk away does good food, including excellent Thai, and is very welcoming

Positive: The accommodation is situated in a quaint village setting along a babbling brook or stream which contributes to lovely evenings on adjoining large porch. It was perfect suited for visiting the sites associated with Hadrian’s Wall and the other ancient Romans sites. Every detail and amenities was considered and provided. Hosts were fabulous. Highest recommendation.

Negative: It was a shame there wasn’t a seating area to watch tv (only in bed) which we don’t ever do at home- just personal preference .

Positive: There was nothing to not like, the accommodation was nothing short of perfect, the location was stunning and all the little extras were just icing on an already beautiful cake. In pictures it looks quite small but in reality it's the perfect size for a long walking weekend (we had 2 adults and 2dogs staying here). The owners were super helpful with everything from places to walk to places to eat and were helpful without being overbearing. We really couldn't have asked for more!

Positive: Everything was perfect! Great location, very peaceful and quiet but very easy to explore from with lots of places of interest close by. The train station in the village was handy too if we didn't want to use the car. The cottage was warm, cosy, comfortable, and very clean. Everything has been really well thought about, and the attention to detail was amazing. We loved the personal touches, too. Certainly would recommend to friends and family and would definitely visit again.

Positive: Wow!!!! We chose to spend our honeymoon here and what an incredible place this is, the hosts ( Mychael, Lisa and Izobel) are just amazing, the attention to detail is incredible. Everything is so beautiful and furnished to a very high standard. There is nothing at all you could fault. Dogs go free, and there were even gifts for Freddie when we arrived. So many extras provided. I would definitely recommend ordering the breakfast hamper it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you so much.
