Positive: The location was great. Not too far from the craziness of Shibuya or Shinjuku. Koenji is a cool vibe. The property is amongst a residential area but close to vintage shops, restaurants and shopping streets. We had an amazing time.

Negative: Nothing. We loved the area, space, and the peace in Koenji.

Positive: Great location, lots of bars, restaurants close by. Good shopping. Much preferred this end of town, compared to by the station. Plenty of space for 3 people.

Negative: Quite expensive for outer suburbs.

Positive: Location was amazing. Apartment was relatively comfortable and it was stocked with what we needed.

Negative: Our apartment didn’t look anything like the pictures. It was super small and quite dark downstairs where the beds were. It smelt a little musty which was still ok. There were fly screens on the bathroom window so we left it open. There was also no dryer which was hard because we had a bunch of washing to do with only two days before flying out so it was a close call with the air drying but it worked out.

Positive: Really great location. Accessible to main Kōenji areas and easy enough access to subway. Lots of great food options in the area and some cool spots for a drink in the evening.

Negative: Stairs seemed a bit dodgy but otherwise all good.
