Positive: The staff was awesome! Very polite. Christopher and there was a woman at the front desk both super helpful.

Negative: The power cuts off with the room key. When you leave the room it’s get HOT! And takes awhile for it to cool off again. Shower door did not close properly it was tight squeeze to walk in the restroom. Room 302. You need a lighter for the stove too. And no coffee pot like I seen advertised. Also bed was a full size not a queen.

Summary: It was good safe and and great location.

Positive: The staff was definitely the highlight of our stay at this hotel. They were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. They assisted us with our luggage, answered all our questions, and made us feel like VIPs. We also enjoyed having a free breakfast included with our reservation.

Negative: The breakfast was not good, the salami was over fried, the eggs was not presentable. There was not even a welcome bottle of water in the room and there was no water in the restaurant unless you buy it.

Positive: The property was central to the places we had planned to visit, the decor and ambiance of the hotel was lovely. The lobby’s design, furnitures and amenities are modern and properly maintained and also very clean. The staff were very polite, helpful and thorough. Check in was very easy and fast. Got the exact room that was booked. The hotel also made contact to ensure all is well, before we even reach the hotel and checked about the possible time we will get there. We found that to be a kind gesture. The room was very organized and clean, all amenities were functional. Soap (bar and liquid) and tissues were in the bathroom. The city view and sea view from the junior suite was breath taking, exactly what we had in mind. My husband was able to fly his drone from the room too. Would definitely stay at RIG Puerto Malecon again! The breakfast was delicious and dining area clean. (Just wished there were more protein options) The bar on the roof with the city view is great.

Negative: I didn’t like that there wasn’t much protein options for the breakfast, I don’t eat egg and I was only stuck with Salami, the breakfast was the same every morning, switching it up a little or having a menu to order from the night before would be awesome. The pool was not clean, but liked that it was same as pictured. The hotel bar and pool closes too early.
