Positive: An excellent stay in a beautiful, modern cottage surrounded by nature. The property is extremely stylish, feels brand new, and is located in a wonderfully peaceful setting. The forest views from the cottage are amazing, and the silence and natural surroundings made it a perfect place to relax. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with.
Negative: The only downsides were that the restaurant is closed during the summer season and that some construction work within the resort had not yet been completed. Neither of these affected our stay or bothered us, though.

Positive: Nice cottage in a quiet area, if you’re in the cottages further from reception there’s no one in the backyard! Good breakfast too and friendly staff :)
Negative: The sauna door had quite large gaps which allowed steam to leave the sauna quite quickly

Positive: Oh, it really felt like home - so cozy and so well thought of the details! the place is amazing! the view from the window, the stuff, the breakfast, the confort, how well the house is equipped - everything is super cool - i would love to come back! and i hope we will! :)
Negative: that we only stayed for 6 nights! i could easily stayed 1 more week!! and bet it would still not be enough! :)

Positive: The location is beautiful, you can start walking/snowshoeing right from the hut. The staff was so friendly and made everything possible. The villas are comfy, spacious and stylish, we felt at home and had the amazing sportive days. We didn’t dine at the main lodge as we cooked ourselves but breakfast was tasty with good coffee. Thank you for a great stay answer are so looking forward to come again next year!

The villa, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully designed, made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The spaces were impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. The restaurant deserves special mention: in addition to breakfast, we chose to have lunch and dinner there on several occasions, consistently appreciating the quality of the dishes and the excellent service. Positive: The location is perfect, close to a supermarket, skiresort, activiteis (they have their own safaripark where ypu can also rent snowshoes, forest skis,…) We loved our stay here, the view and accomodation were beautiful. The staff is also super friendly and the breakfast is very good!

Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riekko Lodge near Kittilä, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. Being among the very first guests made the experience even more special — it felt like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of Lapland. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The entire team was incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help with individual needs. You can really feel that they care deeply about their guests and their experience. As vegans, we were especially impressed. The lodge is extremely vegan-friendly — the kitchen staff offered plenty of delicious vegan options and were more than happy to individualize meals according to our wishes. This level of openness and effort is rare and very much appreciated. The cabin itself was cosy, warm, and beautifully comfortable, perfect after long winter days outside. One absolute highlight was the sauna. When we initially struggled to turn it on, we sent a quick WhatsApp message — and to our amazement, the CEO personally came over to explain everything to us. That level of dedication and personal care is truly exceptional. The kitchen was fully equipped and very practical. A few minor things (like a bottle opener, kitchen towel, and matches) were missing at first — understandably, since we were among the first guests — but once we asked, everything was provided immediately and without any hassle. Another great bonus was the rental of high-quality winter clothing, which made our stay in the Arctic conditions even more enjoyable and stress-free.
Negative: When shoes are wet from the snow, the entrance area can feel a bit tight near the wardrobe — but this is just a minor detail.
