Positive: The breakfast was noteworthy. All ingredients fresh. Even on the day we couldn't make breakfast, the employees sent us on a day trip with breakfast. The property is very clean, and you can tell the management pays close attention to detail in keeping the place nice. Staff was responsive to our needs. The administrator made my wife feel special by providing a small gift as we were leaving.
Negative: The administrator needs to be more clear that this property is not reachable by car. Fes Medina is not a navigable grid by any means. You must get out of your taxi, and if you have bags hope that a guy with a hand cart will help you out. Obviously that service isn't free, and it's additionally stressful chasing bags in a push cart through a labyrinth to find the place. The administrator needs to be clear with guests about what a service costs if he is going to help to arrange it. I basically had to empty my wallet to pay a tour guide who took us on a day tour.

Positive: The riad is stunning — the craftsmanship is out of this world. I stayed with my wife, two children, and in-laws, and our room for four guests was spacious and comfortable. The pool was a wonderful bonus that the kids loved. Noor, the general manager, was incredibly friendly and gave us excellent recommendations. I also loved the location — just a 5-minute walk from the main road and close to all the major sites. Despite being in the heart of the Fes Medina, it was very quiet, making it the perfect escape from the medina’s energy.
Negative: I honestly can't think of many areas to improve, but I had to pick one I would say, the mattresses were on the harder side, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. However, this seems quite common across Morocco, so not a major drawback.
Summary: A beautiful riad with breathtaking craftsmanship, spacious rooms, and outstanding hospitality.

Positive: Meticulously renovated traditional ornate Moroccan riad ( although actually more a traditional dar with internal courtyard rather than garden), the original building dating back centuries. Very beautiful. Wonderful panoramic views from the rooftop dining area, perfect for a sunset drink. Noor was very helpful and hospitable organising taxis, guides etc, but the real standout was his and his teams care of our daughter when she was unwell. Thank you Noor.
Negative: We didn’t use the pool… partly because it is close to the main entrance, but mainly because air conditioning in our room won over coming back down for a swim!
Summary: A lovely stay in a stunning old riad in the Medina, with very helpful staff

Positive: We love how beautiful and name the Riad was on our room was amazing. Except for the shower.
Negative: We arranged for a homage and a massage followed by dinner. By the time we were done with the spa treatment, they told us dinner was no longer available. We had to walk 15 minutes to another restaurant they recommended. Not ideal. But we made the most of it
Summary: Most of the staff were amazing with the exception of one. The place is very beautiful.

Positive: Very generous portions for meals- they even kindly allowed us to share 1 main meal on our 2nd evening which was no problem at all for them (the starter to share was well more than half quantity). Noor made sure we we're happy with everything. They did not try to overcharge us when settling the bill at checkout- it completely tallied what I had calculated, and Noor even asked if I agreed with everything on it. He kindly gave my wife a small gift when leaving. We didn't have cash to give a tip but felt under no pressure at all to do so. Outside of the hotel, our experience of Fes was alot more stressful than Marakech, so this hotel offered us some respite. On entering the room for first time, there is a wow factor.
Negative: The towels ideally could be softer. There were no drinks in the fridge- a missed opportunity for them since I would have spent alot on bar to de- stress myself. We didn't book our tour guide through hotel but it seems common practice in the city to take tourists to shops where we're suddenly given a tour by the owner and be tricked into spending overpriced goods while the 'tour guide' takes a nice little break. I got the impression that guides work in partnership with certain hotels to try to convince you to change accommodation plans. Our experience of Fes was not good at all- this has nothing at all to do with the hotel itself but we were on guard all the time so we didn't book any massages etc
Summary: Very good, almost 5 stars

Positive: It’s beautiful.
Negative: If you arrive at night I would NOT book it. You have to be escorted into the location bc it’s along several long alleys. This is how the old town is set up and it’s not comfortable. Even leaving on our own was not fun and we required the hotel to escort us out bc it was so confusing. The manager at the hotel also argued w us about our booking with booking.com. He told me I was wrong and I didn’t do something correct abt the amount of bee. He told me to ‘show him’ where I stated I needed two beds (the info was present! And the he told me I was suppose to message the properly separately and tell them. He told me it would cost me more (that wasn’t true ) but I offered to pay more so I wouldn’t need to sleep with my cousin in a double bed. He told me that a double bed was a ‘big bed’ for us to fit in. He told me I did things wrong and I should have some messaged them abt the beds but my booking clearly stated it and 2 times prior to my arrival the hotel reached out to me and never asked me abt the beds. My cousin last her temper at one point and another person stepped in bc it was becoming a heated discussions we just traveled 10 hrs from the desert and waited 45 min for the rooom. We were exhausted. It was very very uncomfortable with him but others made the experience better afterwards and they were very kind. They helped me to fix a train issue and went out of their way. So I am thankful for them and I am happy they helped bc they went over and beyond to be kind. I feel they would have done that even if what happened prior did not occur. But it was a very bad start with a good ending.
Summary: Beautiful but there is easier places to enter/exit from without being escorted.
