Positive: From the moment I arrived, Mohamed made me feel at home with tea, biscuits, and a warm welcome. He’s exceptionally kind, trustworthy, and intelligent — anticipating every need before you ask. The Riad is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style. My room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and pillow, hot shower, and all amenities. After 10 p.m. it’s completely quiet until morning. Generous brekfast served on the stunning terrace overlooking the Medina. I loved the authentic experiences Mohamed arranged — visiting artisans, tennery, ceramics & women’s coop and a working loom with veg silk. Dinner cooked by his mother was fresh, healthy, and full of love. A truly unforgettable stay — I’ll definitely return!

Negative: nothing, it was all great. Personally, I would make an even better use of the roof terrace and perhaps dedicate an area to relax, massage, and yoga with music and incense.

Positive: I had never wrote reviews before, but I dear to take time to write it for the sake of hospitality I had. I’ll be as honestly as possible for all. I am thankful for the Mohamed, he was very helpful and always trying to make us comfortable as much. He explained about town with map, helped me walking around in Medina. I didn’t take any tour but he was trying to arrenge a tour for me to have the best experience if I wanted. They let me allowed to check in early in the morning. He came to pick me up from taxi which I also asked to arrange from the airport, so I didn’t need to look for the place when I arrived. He also came along with me to a taxi, even though it was 3 a.m. to get my flight. I was traveling by myself, just stopped by Fes because of transit of my flight, not on luxury vacation either. I was a little nervous staying in Morroco for the first time, walking around alone as a woman. I don’t know how it is in other places. But I am glad to choose this place. Dinner which his mother made was very tasty and worth trying it. I enjoyed spending time on the top roof terrace. The view was stunning. The place is close to the main road, it’s easy to access to/from taxi. It is new Riad just started 3 month ago or so. I hope they will have more guest in future.

Negative: It might be not so easy to find a place. I lost several times when I wanted to go back to the Riad. It is bit far from the blue gate if you walk. But you can access easily to get a taxi. My room was on the Grand floor next to Dining hall. You could hear when people talking and there was no window. But sleeping there at night was no problem.

Positive: The host is outstanding, very nice and helpful. It’s a new Riad, making improvements as they go, it’s what I would describe as ‘rustic experience’ - basic rooms but clean and great value for the budget conscious traveller. I hope they get a lot of bookings in the future. I would stay again.

Positive: Very clean & charming place to stay - and the staff are locals with incredible knowledge of not just modern day Fes but also the rich in depth history - honestly they could give their own tours. The location is near the Main street and very easy to find. Definitely recommend - I felt like I made true friends staying here.

Negative: None - I loved staying here, wish it was longer!
