Positive: We arrived at Riad Narjiss at around 7:30 p.m. and were warmly welcomed by Zouheir, a friend of Zouheir's, and other guests from Belgium with Moroccan tea. We all sat together at the table and talked. During the evening, another guest (a very friendly lady from the USA) joined us. Since some of us hadn't had dinner yet, we decided to go out to eat together. Our host Zouheir drove us all to a very good restaurant (Dar Naji). On the way there, we also picked up Zouheir's partner and owner of the riad, Narjiss. Thank you very much for the wonderful, family-like evening with good, traditional food. The Riad Narjiss is located in the medina of Rabat, about a 10-minute walk from the large parking lot at the Rabat lighthouse. The building has been lovingly restored and everything is very new, stylish, and furnished with attention to detail. Our room was on the upper floor and was very spacious. There were cookies as a welcome gift. Next to the bed, there is also a sofa, a desk, and a wardrobe. The bathroom is also sufficiently large and offers everything you need. Despite the very central location, it was also very quiet. We had breakfast with Narjiss and Zouheir, had some nice conversations, and got a few more tips for Rabat. The breakfast is very fine and delicious. It leaves nothing to be desired. We would have loved to stay longer than just one night if our schedule had allowed it. Best wishes also to “Cookie” and “the other one” – Narjiss's two cute cockatiels.

Positive: I loved my time here at Riad Narjiss. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The way the windows in my room opened up to a covered courtyard were perfect for light and keeping my room cool. The character of the building as well as its location in the medina were second to none. The hospitality of Zouheir and Narjiss made my stay unforgettable. When I return to Rabat, I will absolutely stay here.

Negative: The only thing I would add to this property are additional hooks for towels and maybe a few more hangars. I’m sure they would have provided but it wasn’t a big deal. Not a criticism, but like most of Morocco, cash is preferred.

Positive: Our stay at Riad Narjiss in Rabat was nothing short of outstanding. Our hosts were absolutely phenomenal — warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a perfect experience for their guests. Their kindness went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect: they even accompanied me to a local clinic for my fourth rabies vaccination after a small cat nibble in Tangier. That level of personal care is something I will never forget. The riad itself is beautiful, filled with authentic Moroccan features, peaceful spaces, and a sense of calm that made it a standout on our three-city journey through Marrakech, Tangier, and Rabat. The attention to detail throughout our stay was impeccable. As far as I’m concerned, Riad Narjiss sets the benchmark for excellence in hospitality. This was, without question, the highlight of our trip, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. A truly exceptional experience from beginning to end.

Positive: This riad is beatiful, the arrangement of every space is impeccable. The beds are comfortable and large, we slept very well there. But the best part of this accomodation are the people. We so enjoyed breakfasts with the hosts and other guests. If you arrive by car, there is a private parking nearby, just 5min walk and costs 3Eur/night. I'd book it again, if I'm in Rabat.

Our host, Narjiss, was especially welcoming, as were the three beautiful rooms that faced the terrace on the first floor. This brief stay, which ended with a delicious breakfast, was the high point of our trip to Morocco.
